At the end of April, we took advantage of the long weekend and went to visit family in Durban. We spent a couple days either side of the weekend at Timothy’s parents place and the long weekend down at T.O. Strand for family camp.
The weekend was the best. We camped, we were right on the beach, we spent great time with family and friends but mostly, we chased around a toddler who loves the outdoors and got to spend 5 days outside. What a dream!
So here are a couple photos from our weekend away. Hope you enjoy!
Late afternoon driving down to Durban.
Exploring Grammie’s garden with daddy. I love how adventurous she is in and outdoors.
We arrived midday and started to get settled, setting up camp for the weekend.
A little badminton in the road on the first night before dinner.
Day 2 of family camp.
Fun camping games with the kids. This is the Oreo game.
Our adventurous little monkey. Always on the go. Always wanting to be outside exploring.
Potjie evening. Getting everything ready for the potjie to start cooking away for dinner later on.
A little late afternoon volleyball.
Day 3 of our camping by the sea.
Water balloon volleyball. If you’ve never played this game, you have to do it at least once.
Day 4 was spent all day at the beach! Beside when little miss needed to nap.
Love these beach photos of my two favourites.
Photos didn’t happen on the last day because… crazy toddler, clean up, packing up. It was way too busy but we had the best time.
